Wilma “Willie” was born in Dumont, to John and Julia Laudner and graduated from Sheffield Chapin High School in 1948.

She was introduced to her husband on a blind date by her sister, Beryl, who was dating Red’s brother, Earl. Hans “Red” Jorgensen and Willie were married that October at the Little Brown Church in Nashua after dating three months. They were married for 65 years and were blessed with three children, Steven (Jane) Jorgensen, Richard (Lori) Jorgensen, and Penny (Paul) Weitzel; seven grandchildren, Jensina Jorgensen, Heather Jorgensen, April (Jon) Beaudet, Daniel (Kellie) Jorgensen, Benjamin (Rachel) Moorehead, Kyle Jorgensen, and Samuel Moorehead; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice (Arthur) Koeningsburg and Beryl (Earl) Jorgensen; and a brother, Karl (Jean) Laudner.

Willie cherished her family above all else. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going out to dinner or for ice cream, shopping with her daughter, and gambling with her sons. Her cookie jar was always filled with her homemade chocolate chip cookies and everyone looked forward to her amazing apple pie. Grandma Willie’s was a favorite place for slumber parties and scrambled eggs and bacon.

In 1981 Red and Willie moved to their current home on the Highland Park Golf Course and many happy hours were spent there with the children and grandchildren. The grandkids especially liked the golf cart rides!

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Laudner; brothers, Leland, Clinton, and Gerald; and sisters, Alta Warburton and Eva Cheevers.
