Clear Lake -- Funeral services for L. C. [Leonard Cook] Rinard, 75, who died suddenly at his home, 510 N. 4th Street, about 10 o'clock Wednesday morning of a pulmonary thrombosis, will be held at Ward's funeral home Friday at 2 o'clock. Doctor Edward W. Day, pastor of the First Congregational church, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery.

Leonard Cook Rinard, son of S. K. and Matilda Sherman Rinard, was born Jan. 28, 1872, at Cambria. He received a law degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and practiced law in Mason City, serving for a time as county attorney. In 1916 he went to work as traveling salesman for the Mason City Brick and Tile company.

Mr. Rinard was married to Miss Vera Young August 22, 1902 [at Independence, Iowa]. They lived in Mason City until 1930 when they moved to the present home.

They have 2 sons, Robert F. Rinard, who, with his wife, lives in the parental home, and Carl P. "Park" Rinard, San Francisco, Cal., who arrived Thursday afternoon for the funeral. Besides his wife and sons, Mr. Rinard is survived by 2 brothers, John M. Rinard, Clearfield, and S. H. Rinard, Chariton, and 2 granddaughters, Nancy and Kathleen.

Services for Leonard C. Rinard 74 who died at his home 510 N 4th Street Wednesday morning were held at Ward's funeral home Friday after noon. Doctor Edward W. Day pastor of the First Congregational church conducted the rites and burial was in Clear Lake cemetery.

Pallbearers were Arthur Johnson, J. F. Palmeter, T. E. Sondrol Sr., Carl A .Parker, Robert Parker, W. W. Choate and S. A. Sorensen. Mrs. Sam Kennedy and Miss Louise Clausen arranged the flowers.

Out of town persons present at the funeral included a son Park Rinard San Francisco, Cal.
