MASON CITY — Maxine L. Entner, 77, of 1639 Sixth St. S.W., died Monday (Aug. 2, 1999) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. Nils "Chris" Hellevik officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today and 8 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Iowa or the American Lung Association.

Maxine was born July 26, 1922, in Mason City, the daughter of Clyde and Lillian (Larson) Lindsay. She graduated from Mason City High School.

Maxine married Arthur E. Entner on Aug. 17, 1940, in Northwood. She worked 13 years at Mode O'Day retiring in 1970. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Arthur E. Entner, of Mason City; two sons, David Entner and his wife, Marcia, of Naples, Fla., and Todd Entner and his wife, Delores, of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa, Dixie, Christine, Brian and Jason; and great-grandchildren, Christopher J., Nathan, Emily and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vivalore; and a child in infancy.
