Clement H. Steiner, 65, retired employe in the Brick & Tile Building, died Monday in a Mason City hospital. He had lived in Mason City 30 years and made his home at 321 N. Georgia.
Mr. Steiner was born July 5, 1900, in Apple River, Ill., son of Henry and Mary (Horan) Steiner. He was married to Kathleen Ann Fitzgerald in 1924 at Rockwell. She preceded him in death in May 1946.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Robert (Mary) Ludlow, Omaha; four sons, Leo Steiner, Mason City; Joe Steiner, Fort Dodge, and Thomas E. Steiner, Cedar Rapids, 12 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs Joe (Eva) O'Donnell, Mason City.
Besides his wife, he also was preceded in death by a son in infancy and his parents.
Mr. Steiner was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Requiem high Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. J. Breen will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph section of Elmwood Cemetery.
The Holy Family Parish Rosary was scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Hogar-McKee Colonial Chapel.
