SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Teresa “Terri” Bellmore, 62, of Sacramento, California, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel in Mason City with the Rev. Neil Manternach officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery following the service.

According to her wishes her body was cremated.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapels of Mason City.

Teresa (Terri) Bellmore, 62, of Sacramento, California passed away Saturday (October 22, 2016) at her home. According to her wishes she requested to be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday (November 12, 2016) at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City with Reverend Neil Manternach officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kaiser Hospice, 2025 Morse Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825, the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502, or the Sacramento SPCA, 6201 Florin-Perkins Road, Sacramento, CA 95828.

Teresa Janese Ames was born on January 27, 1954 in Mason City, Iowa to Burl (Mike) and Dorothy (Mullaney) Ames. She grew up in Manly, Iowa and attended Sacred Heart Schools and North Central High School. Terri was the valedictorian of the graduating class of 1972. She graduated from California State University in 1990 with a degree in business.

Terri began her career with the U.S. Small Business Administration shortly after high school graduation in Des Moines, Iowa and continued her career with a move to Sacramento, CA in 1981. Terri devoted over 43 years to her career retiring as the Deputy Director of the Sacramento Loan Processing Center in January 2016.

Terri was united in marriage to Jerry Bellmore on July 12, 1997 at her home in Sacramento.

Terri enjoyed being physically active and was especially devoted to her two schnauzers Shorty and Sassy. Terri loved spending time with her family, especially enjoying her frequent visits back to Iowa.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jerry Bellmore of Sacramento; sister, Sharon Deets of Mason City; nephews, Chris (Julia) Deets and their children, Andrew, Anna, and Alex of Mason City, and Brad (Amber) Deets and their children, Maxwell, Hannah and Sawyer of Waukee; Jerry's daughter and family, Gina (Jason) Holmes and their children, Tristan and Tori of Sacramento; and a special Aunt, Melicent Ames of Swaledale.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents and a special Aunt, Margie Mullaney.
