Ronald S. Glanville, 57, left our land “our world” April 1, 2016 at his home in Clear Lake, Iowa following a battle with cancer.

He was the husband of Carrie for twenty one years.

There will be a time of gathering of family and friends from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Friday April 15, 2016 at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, Iowa.

Ron was born June 24, 1958 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Bob and Yvonne (Rule) Glanville. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1977.

He worked for Charlson Excavating, Clear Lake for over 30 years.

Ron had expressed plans for the future of his beloved family land which he grew up on; to grow prairie flowers and grasses, for the future generations to enjoy.

People with his memories are his wife Carrie Glanville, Clear Lake, Iowa; mother-in-law Janet R. Albright, Des Moines, Iowa; his aunt and uncle Mary and Bill Stoynoff, Ventura, Iowa; the Cady family, Des Moines, Iowa; his three sister-in-law’s Cindia (John) Badger, Des Moines, Iowa, Cathy (Tom) Goldman, Des Moines, Iowa and Cheryl Clark, Des Moines, Iowa; cousins Nick (Linda) Stoynoff and son Bill, Campton Hills, Illinois, Tom (Mary Jo) Glanville, Ames, Iowa, Scott (Pam) Riley, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Susan Riley and her children John and Emily, Springfield, Virginia and nieces and nephews.
