Barbara Duitscher, 91, of Clear Lake, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City.

Per her wishes she has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Barbara was born September 14, 1924, daughter of William and Clara (Martin) McCutcheon and was one of four children. She was a graduate of Goldfield High School. Barbara went to Hamilton Business College and attained her two year degree. Barbara was united in marriage to Joel Duitscher on October 4, 1945 and to this union two children were born.

Barb enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her grandkids. Playing slot machines, taking her daily drives around the lake, putting puzzles together, cheering for the Hawkeyes and dining out.

Barbara is survived by her children, Jody (Tom) Babinat of Grundy Center; Patricia (Ralph) Larsen of Clear Lake; grandchildren, Shane Babinat; Shawna (Scott) Kuiper; Keri Babinat; Kelsey (fiancé – Deven Beitel) Larsen; Bryan Larsen; six great grandchildren; sister, Norma Krebs of Ankeny.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joel; granddaughter, two sisters.
