CLEAR LAKE | Pamela Lynn Charlson, 70, of Clear Lake, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Lake Mills Care Center.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.majorericksonfuneralhome.com .

Pam was born in Richmond, California to Bill and Yvonne (Hildreth) Haltom on Sept. 5, 1944. At a young age, her family moved to Des Moines, Iowa where she graduated from Des Moines East High School. Pam married Ronald Charlson Dec. 6, 1975, in Lake Mills.

Pam loved living on the lake, entertaining her friends and taking her grandsons boating and tubing. She was also an avid reader, and enjoyed watching decorating and cooking programs.

Pam is survived by her husband, Ronald Charlson of Clear Lake; her children, Melissa (Joe) Fruscella, Jason (Shelley) Kinker and Christopher (Mindy) Charlson, all of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandsons, Will Kinker and Max, Sam and Giovanni Fruscella.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Yvonne Haltom.

The family of Pam wishes to extend our sincere thanks and love to everyone who helped her through her courageous battle with cancer.
