MASON CITY - Fannie M. Frank, 84, formerly of Mason City, died Thursday (Jan. 4, 1996) at the Riverside Chautauqua Home, Charles City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fullerton Patterson James Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frederick J. Wood of Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be at the Elmwood-St. Joseph Colombarium.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral chapel.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials in Fannie Frank's name.

Fannie M. Frank was born March 11, 1911 in Ocheyedan, the daughter of Dick and Kate (Fakan) Ebbenga. She attended school in Butterfield, Minn. She was united in marriage to Gordon Lee on April 15, 1930 in Des Moines. They moved to Mason City in 1931 where she lived until moving to Nora Springs. In 1993 she moved to te Chautauqua Home in Charles City. Following her husband's passing in 1939, Mrs. Frank was employed in the processing department of Armour, until retiring in 1973.

Fannie's family includes her surviving son, Kenneth J. Lee of Mason City; a deceased daughter, Shirley Nichols, who died in 1977; two sisters, Doris Davis of Mason City, and Alice Fullerton of Hawthorne, Calif.; and one brother, Richard Ebbenga of Butterfield, Minn.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Gordon in 1939; husband Dominic Frank in 1977; and her parents.
