MASON CITY -- Teri Lyn DiMarco, 17, of 1007 S. Kentucky Ave., died Saturday (June 29, 1996) at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 714 N. Adams Ave., with the Rev. John R. Kremer, the Rev. James E. Hayes and Deacon Matthew F. Berry officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church, 714 N. Adams Ave., where a Scriptural wake service will be held at 7 p.m. followed by an 8 p.m. K of C Rosary.

As Teri would have wanted, those planning to attend the visitation and Mass are asked to please dress in casual attire.

Memorials may be given in Teri's memory to Cerro Gordo County Child Abuse Council, P.O. Box 41, Mason City, Iowa 50401.

Teri Lyn DiMarco was born Oct. 11, 1978, at Mason City, a daughter of Jim and Shirley (Moeller) DiMarco Jr.

Teri attended Newman Catholic Schools and recently completed her junior year at Newman High School, Mason City. At Newman, Teri was a member of the volleyball team, and especially enjoyed Spanish class and her teacher, Mony Vega.

Teri worked at The Buckle in Southbridge Mall.

She enjoyed spending time with her niece, Kelsey, rollerblading, shopping, cars, her boyfriend, Chris, and her many friends.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City.

Teri is survived by her parents, Jim and Shirley DiMarco of Mason City; two sisters, Cathy Beckwith and her husband, Jim, of Marion, and Keri DiMarco and her boyfriend, Chad Blake, of Mason City; one brother, Mike Yoes of San Angelo, Texas; a special niece, Kelsey Marie DiMarco of Mason City; paternal grandmother, Kay DiMarco of Mason City; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Elsie Moeller, of San Angelo, Texas; two special friends, Chris McLaughlin of Mason City, and Amanda Ryan of Clear Lake; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jim DiMarco Sr.

Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is handling arrangements.
