OTTUMWA - Marian Jean Billings, 72, of 1405 Albia Road, died Tuesday (July 9, 2002) at the Ottumwa Good Samaritan Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home, 220 N. Court St. in Ottumwa, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be given to Ottumwa Good Samaritan Center or Alzheimer's Association in her memory.

Marian Jean was born on April 28, 1930, in Mason City to Walter and Agnes Ebbers Bohnsack.

She was united in marriage to Allen Paul Billings on Sept. 12, 1947, in Mason City. Her husband died on Sept. 20, 1976.

She worked at the Ottumwa County Club for 25 years, and worked National League concession stand for many years. She loved working with her rose bushes.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Billings, Wayne Billings, Paul Billings, all of Ottumwa; two daughters, Barbara Waller, and Jo Ann "Jo" Billings, both of Ottumwa; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Merlyn Bohnsack, of Mason City, Gary Bohnsack, of Greensboro, N.C., and Dennis Bohnsack, of Mason City; four sisters, Ramona Morse, of Mason City, Judy DeWitt, of Peoria, Ill., Marilyn Lankford, of Mason City, and Donna Brummond, of Mason City; and her companion, Kenny Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Dale Bohnsack.
