MASON CITY - Hazel "Bea" Billick, 84, of 302 Second St. N.E., died Sunday (July 28, 2002) at the Good Shepherd Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. with the Rev. David Biddle of Calvary Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Hazel "Bea" Billick Memorial Fund.

Bea was born on May 19, 1918 in Mahaska County, Iowa, the daughter of William J. and Frances M. (Eberline) Billick. Her family moved to Mason City in 1923.

Bea was a longtime resident of Mason City. She attended Calvary Alliance Church and enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews.

Bea is survived by one brother, Elmer Billick Jr. and wife, Carline, of Mason City; two sisters, Mary Lou Tully and husband, Lee, of Santa Anna, Calif., and Donna Jean Waters, of Garden Grove, Calif.; sister-in-law, Lucille Billick, of Meservey; and many nieces and nephews.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William F. and Jerry Lee Billick; two sisters, Maxine M. Billick Snell and Josephine M. Billick Dahl.
