Dennis Ray Schmidt, 45, 1000 S. Illinois Ave., formerly of Manly, died Monday (March 25, 1991) at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Funeral services were held on Thursday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton, with the Rev. Gregory Bjornstad officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Mr. Schmidt was born January 23, 1946, in Mason City.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Arran (Viola) Bentzen, Battle Lake, MN, and Dorothy Mensch and Sharon Sanderson, both of Manly; and two brothers, Henry Schmidt, Manly and Richard Schmidt, Osage.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
