January 25, 1996Clifford N. Sage, 64, of 207 21 St. S.E., died Wednesday (Jan. 24, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E.

January 26, 1996 - Clifford N. Sage, 64, of 207 First St. S.E., died Wednesday (Jan. 24, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, 318 N. Adams Ave., with the Rev. Paul Boostrom officiating. Following cremation, inurnment will take place in Waldport, Ore.
There will be no public visitation. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is handling arrangements.
Clifford N. Sage was born in Mason City on July 11, 1931, the son of Clifford and Lucille (Mayo) Sage. He attended school in Mason City and Richmond, Calif. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1951-1955. He later worked for Pacific Bell Telephone Co., retiring in 1984. He returned to Mason City in December 1990.
He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren, repairing bicycles, taking pictures, boats and antique automobiles.
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He is survived by his loving companion, Elaine Sage of Mason City; one son, Robert Sage of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Sandra Duggar and her husband, Joe, of Sacramento, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Jackie Carpenter and her husband, Richard, and Tammy Treslan, all of Mason City; four stepsons, Don Sage and his wife, Jessie; Tom Sage and his wife, Linda; Ron Sage and his wife, Toni; Bryan Sage and his wife, Carol, all of Mason City; 14 stepgrandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Charles Sage and his wife, Marge, of Placerville, Calif., and Donald Sage of Pacheco, Calif.; one aunt, Hazelle Tagesen of Mason City; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gregory Sage.
