January 25, 1996Keith Edwin Bryant, 82, formerly of Mason City, Iowa, died Monday (Jan. 15, 1996) at the Masonic Home in Springfield.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Masonic Home in Springfield.
A memorial service and Masonic rites were also held at the First Christian Church on Tuesday, Jan. 23, in Weslaco, Texas.
Keith Edwin Bryant was born in 1913 in Lehigh, Iowa.
He was united in marriage to Catherine Catlen in 1941.
They resided in Ohio and Indiana until he retired, moving to Mason City, Iowa. Later, they resided permanently in Weslaco, Texas.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Odd Fellows, American Legion 40 et 8.
He is survived by five brothers, Bill Bryant of Branson, Mo.; John D. Bryant of Wichita, Kan.; Newton Bryant and Bert Bryant, both of Mason City, Iowa, and James Bryant of Weslaco, Texas; three sisters, Mildred Livingston of Mason City, Iowa; Clarice Christensen of Weslaco, Texas, and Enid Buss of Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Catherine, in 1994; two brothers; and one sister.
