ROCKWELL, Iowa - Rebecca Vieth (Mrs. Donald) Sheldon, 73, a native of Aiken County [South Carolina], died Saturday [April 14, 1979] at a Mason City, Iowa, Hospital.

The funeral was held yesterday at Patterson-James-Sellergren Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in [Sacred Heart Catholic] Rockwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Sheldon was a daughter of the late Charles and Rebecca (sic, Bertha Mary) Rish Vieth. She had made her home in Iowa for many years.

Survivors include her widower; a sister, Mrs. Burns [Bertrice] Parker of Aiken [SC]; two brothers, Charles Vieth of Charleston [SC] and Willy Vieth of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and two sons, Donald Sheldon Jr., Des Moines, Iowa and William Sheldon, Rockwell, Iowa.
