SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. — Daryle Hobbiebrunken, 56, died Friday (July 24, 1998) at Lake Country Inn, Clear Lake.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockwell, with the Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Rockwell.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Chapel, Rockwell. A scriptural wake service will begin at 7 p.m. Funeral arrangements were completed by Grarup Funeral Home, Sheffield.

Daryle Hobbiebrunken was born in Rockwell on Jan. 29, 1942, the son of Alvin and Dorothy (McLaughlin) Hobbiebrunken. He attended the Thornton school system, graduating with the class of 1960. Following high school, he attended Mason City Junior College before working for B&E trucking, hauling tile, and the Sheffield Creamery, where he hauled dairy products.

Daryle entered the agriculture and real estate sales force, working in the North Iowa area before moving to Arizona in 1985 where he began selling petroleum and chemical products.

In June of this year, he moved to South Sioux City, Neb., and was a partner in Envirologic Solutions, which produces odor and bacteria control for livestock buildings.

Daryle enjoyed golfing, fishing in Canada and country-western dancing and was an avid Nascar fan.

Daryle is survived by one daughter, Michelle Victorino of Des Moines; one son, Chad Hobbiebrunken of Des Moines; two grandsons, Bradley and Daniel Hobbiebrunken; his mother, Dorothy, of Rockwell; three brothers, Terrel Hobbiebrunken of South Sioux City, Neb., Ken Hobbiebrunken and his wife, Brenda, of Thornton, and Hal Hobbiebrunken and his wife, Judy, of Hastings, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
