Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IowaMASON CITY - Loyd Willard Hansen, 83, of Mason City, passed away Wednesday (May 6, 1998) at Columnbia Medical Center, Arlington, Texas.
A funeral Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mason City, with the Rev. Michael Schueller officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Falls Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.
Survivors include his wife, Maybelle Hansen, Mason City; four children, Terry DeBoom and her husband, Denny, Arlington, Texas, JoDee Martin and her husband, Lincoln, Muscatine, Gary Hansen, Aurora, Colo., and Marilyn Hyde and her husband, Robert, Rock Falls; eight grandchildren, Lee and Ross DeBoom, Beth Martin, Christy and Corene Hansen, Brenda Wernet, Angeleen Marshall, and Randall Hyde; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorraine Weller, Rock Falls.
Loyd was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leroy.
