Obituary - Sylvia May (Wilkins) Bell
August 12, 1888 ~ May 11, 1963

Mrs. Stewart (Jack) Bell, 74, died Saturday evening at her home, 1122 6th SW. She had lived in Mason City since 1907, when she came here from North English.

Mrs. Bell was born Sylvia May Wilkins, Aug. 12, 1888, in North English, daughter of Lizander and Annie Wilkins. She was married to Stewart Bell May 30, 1910, in Mason City.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Robert Bell, Clear Lake, and Howard Bell, Mason City; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Zona) Lien, Mason City; Mrs. Lincoln (Evelyn) Johnson, Mason City, and Mrs. Earl Bud (Irene) Weaver, Clear Lake, 22 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Cora Sanford, Mason City. She was preceded in death by a son and brother.

Mrs. Bell was a member of the First Christian Church.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. George Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
