MASON CITY – Daniel Beisel, 68, of 915 N. Taylor, died Tuesday (Feb. 5, 1980) in a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Patterson James Sellergren Chapel, Mason City, with the Rev. Tom Dettmer, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Thursday until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Beisel was a Mason City resident for 60 years and worked at Armour Food Co. for 46 years. He was a member of the River City Hall of Fame.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite, Mason City; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Wolff, Braidwood, Ill; a son, Bob, Mason City; one grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Barney (Leah) Clark; Mrs. Walter (Lydia) Muhlstein, and Mrs. Eric (Susie) Erickson, all of Mason City; and two brothers, George, Mason City, and Alex, Engadine, Mich.
