MRS. MCSTAY BURIED AT LAKE
FUNERAL OF FORMER RESIDENT AT WATERLOO

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Marion McStay, 49, formerly of Mason City and Clear Lake, were held Saturday afternoon at the Locke funeral home in Waterloo. The Rev. Charles Luce, pastor of East Janesville Methodist church, officiated. Burial was at Clear Lake. Mrs. McStay died of a heart attack at her home in Waterloo Thursday.

She was born Marion Garlock, daughter of David A. and Jennie E. Garlock, at Clear Lake July 1, 1897. On July 22, 1938, she was married at Bethany, Mo., to Lloyd McStay of Waterloo and had lived in that city since. Her husband died March 11, 1946.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Jennie Garlock of Waterloo, a sister, Mrs. Alta Rule of Waterloo and a brother, Vernon A. Garlock of Lake Preston, S. Dak.

She had been a member of the First Methodist church and the D. of U. V. of Mason City.
