Plymouth:

Funeral services for Clarence Almond Helm, 59, who died of a heart attack on Monday afternoon while chatting with neighbors, will be held at the home on Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev George D Gaide officiating.

Mr Helm was born on a farm three miles east of Plymouth, the son of George and Anna Helm. He was married to Tillie Rossum in January of 1911 and they continued to live on the home farm until his health failed.

Besides his wife, he leaves 3 sons: all veterans of the 2nd World War: Laurel and Dale of Plymouth and Ellsworth of Popejoy and a daughter, Buena Gould. Mrs Gladys Borchardt is his sister and Mrs Lillie Cleveland of Belle Fourche, South Dakota is a half-sister.

He will be buried at the Rock Falls Cemetery at Rock Falls, Iowa.
