HARVEY SHOLUND DIES AT SLATER; RITES SET TUESDAY

CLEAR LAKE – Word has been received of the death of Harvey Sholund, Slater, husband of the former Ruth Watts of Clear Lake.

He died Friday afternoon after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church in Slater, to be followed by graveside rites in Clear Lake Cemetery between 3 and 3:30 p.m.

His wife and sisters survive him.

Before her marriage, Mrs. Sholund taught for a number of years at Harding School in Mason City.
