JOHN TESENE

After a few days’ illness, and most of the time delirious, John Tesene passed away Wednesday shortly after noon. He had been troubled some time before with a pain in his back which prevented him from working, but he was thought to be getting better when he was taken with inflammation of the brain. Dr. Charlton of Clear Lake was called but could only relieve him temporarily.

The deceased was 34 years of age and had lived in Lincoln township about seven years, having moved here from Wisconsin.

He leaves a wife and two children who are well provided for.

The funeral services were held at the house and were conducted by Rev. Sargent, pastor of the Christian church at Mason City. Interment was at Clear Lake. A large number were in attendance both at the home and at the cemetery.
