CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas (Kristine Marie) Madsen, 89, of 308 6th Ave. S., Clear Lake, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. David Anderson of St. James Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Madsen died Thursday (June 11, 1981) at a Clear Lake nursing home.

She was born in Denmark in 1892 and was a member of the Danish Sisterhood. She married Thomas Madsen in 1913 at Fort Dodge. They moved to Clear Lake in 1946.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Madsen; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Alice Lucille) Wold, of Morton Grove, Ill., and Mrs. Wayne (Shirlee) Vandervort, Des Moines; six grandchildren; and a brother, Emil Sorensen, Clear Lake.
