Obituary - Eleanor "Lorraine" (Anderson) Berrier

Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IowaMASON CITY - Eleanor Lorraine Berrier, 74 of Charles City, died Tuesday (Nov 30, 1999) at the Chautauqua Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday (Dec 4 1999) at the Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., with the Rev. David Biddle of Calvary Alliance Church officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Eleanor was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Mason City, the daughter of Elmer and Margaret Leora (Brockett) Anderson. She grew up and attended school in Mason City before being united in marriage to Everett Russell Berrier on Dec 15, 1951, in Mason City.
They lived in Mason City until Everett's retirement, when they moved to Sheffield. After Everett's death, Eleanor moved to Forest City and later to the Chautauqua Care Center in Charles City. She enjoyed traveling to visit and spend time with her family.
Eleanor is survived by her son, Richard Kunzman and his wife, Sandy, of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Janet Carpenter and her husband Roger, of Denver, Colo., and Sandra Kammrad and her husband, Rick, of Forest City; five grandchildren, Pamela Adkins and her husband, of Albuquerque, N.M., Stephen Kunzman, of Stedman, N.C., Todd Carpenter and his wife, Camie, of Denver, Colo., Ammy Aragon and her husband, Danny, of Los Animas, Colo., and Kristie Miles and her husband, Ron, of Forest City, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Wallace, of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson, Tim Carpenter; one brother; Irvin Terry; and two sisters, Thelma Mahaffey and Hazel Hernandez.
