M. Winchel Service to Be Saturday

Marion Sherman Winchel, 86, died Thursday evening at the IOOF Home following an illness. He had lived at the home since Sept. 9, 1949.

Mr. Winchel was born Aug. 6, 1867, in Polton County, Ill., son of George J. and Bruzla (Singleton) Winchel. He was married to Dolly Stauton, and they farmed near Hamburg. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge 197 at Hamburg.

Surviving are a son, Leonard H. Winchel, Hamburg, a grandson, Jolen Winchel, and granddaughter, Betty Winchel, Rockport, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the IOOF Chapel, with the Rev. Bryon Wright officiating. An Odd Fellow service will be held at the chapel with Earl Bittle, noble grand, in charge. Interment will be at the IOOF Memorial Cemtery. The McAuley and Son Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.

M. S. Winchel Service at IOOF Chapel

Funeral services for Marion S. Winchel, 86, who died Thursdy, were held Saturday afternoon at the IOOF Chapel, with Earl Bittle, noble grand, and the burial staff consisting of Gilbert Randall and Leo George.

Mrs. Berthina Waterman was the accompanist.

Pallbearers were Earl Bittle, Cal Sears, Claude Whitney, Sivert Rivedal, Gilbert Randall and Leo George. Interment was at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemtery. The McAuley and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
