Fred Haake rites to be Wednesday

Fred Haake, 59, lifelong resident of Bath Township, died Monday morning at a Mason City hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Rockwell. The Rev. O. W. Ihenen will officiate.

Mr. Haake was born July 21, 1902, son of Karl A. and Anna (Roben) Haake. He was married to Virga DuVall in June 1931 at Algona.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Donal (Donna) Roberts and Mrs. Dennis (Dolora) Roberts, two grandchildren, his father, Karl Haake; two sisters, Emma Leach and Anna Haake, and a half-sisters, Esther Vosburg, all of Mason City.

Visitation will be at the Patterson-James Rockwell Chapel from Tuesday evening until noon Wednesday and after 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Rockwell Cemetery.

The family requested that any memorials be given in the donor's selection.
