W. J. Wright service set for Sunday

Wilbur J. Wright, 47, superintendent of the Henkel Construction Co., died early Friday morning at a Mason city hospital. He had lived in Mason city since 1952 and had made his home at 106 29th SW.

Mr. Wright was born Oct. 17, 1913, at Vermillion, Ill., son of Edward T. and Ora (Wilkins) Wright. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 268, Paris, Ill., and the Christian Church, Bellridge, Ill.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda; son, Wilbur J. Wright, Jr., on the U.S. Aircraft Carrier Bon Homme Richard; and his mother, Ora Wright, Paris, Ill.

Two sisters, Louise Pine, Paris, Ill., and Gertie Mae Dunn, Woodstock, Ill., and two brothers, Forrest Wright, Lima, Ohio, and Thomas Wright, Paris, Ill., also survive. He was preceded in death by a son, his father, a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hogan-McKee Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Paris, Ill.
