CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. Elizabeth Beck, 99, of Clear Lake, died Wednesday (Oct. 14, 1987) at a Sauk Rapids, Minn.

Funeral services will 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Keith Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. today at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake.

She was born May 17, 1888, in Ackley to Philip and Meike (Deacon) Behrends.

She married Charles H. Beck on Feb. 11, 1907 in Bruster, Minn. They farmed in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan until 1955 when they moved to Clear Lake.

She worked as a practical nurse in Clear Lake and Mason City.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Florence Rose, Birch Run, Mich., and Mrs. Stan (Margaret) Smith, Clear Lake, Minn.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
