John Madden Rites to Be Held Monday at I.O.O.F. Chapel

John S. Madden, 90, died at the I.O.O.F. home Wednesday morning following an illness. He was born Oct. 25, 1860, in Vermillion county, Ill., and moved to the home Feb. 14, 1930, from Danville, Ill. He was a member of Pocahontas Lodge No. 112, Pocohontas, Iowa. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Major funeral home is in charge.

I.O.O.F. Services Are Conducted for John S. Madden

Funeral services for John S. Madden, 90, who died Wednesday following an illness, were held at the I.O.O.F. chapel Monday, with the Rev. F. W. Wendland, pastor of the Grace Evanagelical church, officiating.

The I.O.O.F. services were conducted at the chapel, with Jack Farrer acting noble grand. Sam Koch was chaplain.

Pallbearers were Leo George, Gilbert Randall, Cal Sears and Sam Koch. Interment was at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Park cemtery. The Major funeral home was in charge.
