Lida Evans Service Set for Tuesday

Lida Evans, 69, 625 1/2 Jefferson S. W., widow of Perry Evans, died Sunday at at Mason City hospital. She had lived in the community 27 years.

Mrs. Evans was born Sept. 22, 1886, at Atchison, Kan., daughter of Aron and Maggie Helm. Surviving are two daughter, Irene Moon, Des Moines, and Mrs. Claude (Dorothy) Stalling, Mason City, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at St. John's Baptist Church. The Rev. G. M. Williams will officiate. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p. m. Tuesday until the time of services. Friends may call at the Patterson-James Chapel until noon Tuesday.
