North Iowa lost one of her truly fine citizens Saturday in the passing of William M. (Bill) Huffman Death occurred at his home in P.M. Park at Clear Lake following a lingering illness.
Bill Huffman was best known as a leader in the Odd Fellows Order. The highest recognition possible came to him in his own lodge and at the state level.
But he always found time to give to civic projects designed to make our a better and happier community. Even in the face of adversities, he always kept his smile and his cheery attitude.
It can most assuredly be said that the world is a little better because Bill Huffman came along.
