Mrs. Otto Dahl rites to be Tuesday

Mrs. Otto (Julia) Dahl, 79, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. J. Pietersen, 30 Sunny Circle, where she had been making her home. She had lived in this community 57 years.

Mrs. Dahl was born March 20, 1885, at Northwood, the daughter of Andrew and Gurrie (Drogsvold) Gulliekson. She was married to Otto Dahl, Aug. 26, 1911, at Mason City. She was a member of the Calvary Alliance Church.

Surviving are two sons, Vernon Dahl, Mason City, and the Rev. Joseph Dahl, Westmont, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. F. J. (Alma) Pietersen and Mrs. John (Pauline) Kavars, both of Mason City; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in April 1960 and by four brothers, a sister and a grandchild.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Alliance Church. The Rev. C. D. Tieszen will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers selected are Ed Dreyer, Ed Kammard, John Young, Ivan Wendt, Don Toepfer and Kenneth Graham. Mrs. Donald Toepfer will be the vocalist. Mrs. C. D. Tieszen, organist.

The McAuley-Bremer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
