RITES TO BE MONDAY AFTERNOON AT CHAPEL
Herman Otto, 65, formerly of Clear Lake, died about 7 o’clock Thursday evening at a hospital in Minneapolis, following confinement there for the past two months. He had been in ill health for several years.
Mr. Otto was born July 1, 1877, in Germany. He came to the United States in 1885 and located at Clear Lake, where he resided for about 25 years. For the past three years he had resided on a farm near Danube, Minn.
Surviving are his wife, Lena, three sisters, Mrs. Martha Juds, Mrs. Emma Levell and Miss Marie Otto, all of St. Paul, Minn., and two nephews, Max Rohde, Mason City, and Leonard Juds, St. Paul, and two nieces, Miss Elsa Juds, and Mrs. Frank Bowles, St. Paul.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Patterson funeral home, with the Rev. O. Mall, pastor of the St. James Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be at the Clear Lake cemetery. The Patterson funeral home in charge.

Funeral services for Herman Otto, 65, who died Thursday at a hospital in Minneapolis, following an illness, were held at the Patterson funeral home Monday afternoon, with the Rev. O. Mall, pastor of the St. James Lutheran church, in charge.
Mrs. Edwin Kohler sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.” Mrs. R. E. Patton accompanied at the organ.
Miss Grace Buss and Mr. and Mrs. Huron Thompson were in charge of flowers.
Pallbearers were Sam R. Hyde, Elton Luscomb, Eli Mack, Henry Marshall, Herman Buss, and Herman Knaak. Burial was at the Clear Lake Cemetery. The Patterson funeral home in charge.
