DWAYNE HOLLENBECK

Dwayne B. Hollenbeck, 80, of 909 1st Ave. S., Clear Lake, died Saturday (March 23, 1985) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Clear Lake. The Rev. Bernard Olson officiated. Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Dwayne Hollenbeck was born on Nov. 26, 1904, in Illinois, the son of Delbert and Clara (Baker) Hollenbeck. He was married to the former LaVerna Long on Aug. 17, 1935, in Lake Township. He was a life-time area resident, retiring from farming in 1968 and had lived in Clear Lake since that time.

Memorials are to be given to the First United Methodist Church, Clear Lake.

Survivors include his wife, LaVerna of Clear Lake; and one sister, Mrs. Theodore (Genevieve) Diercks of Mason City.

Susan Micklick was the soloist and Mary Jane Reynolds the organist for the service.

Pallbearers were Roger Ames, Dennis Higgins, Donald Higgins, Jerome Myers, Robert DeWitt, Arlyn Long, Gary Long, and Richard Schriver.
