DORIS D. LAMB

MASON CITY - Doris D. Lamb, 89, died on Monday (May 22, 2000) at the Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau, Wis.

She was born on April 15, 1911, in Decorah to Grady and Edith (Emery) Kennison. She was married to Lloyd Lamb on Dec. 5, 1945, in Atchison, Kan. Mrs. Lamb was a minister in Swaledale for 35 years.

She is survived by her eight children, Terry (Helen) Thurtle, of Milford, Del., Marcia (Daryl) Bunge, of Clear Lake, Larry Lamb, of Oakdale, Nancy (John) Alexander, of Clear Lake, Joel (Rose) Lamb, of Florissant, Mo., Patrick Lamb, of Temecula, Calif. and Marty (Chris) Lamb, of Mesa, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Peggy Powell, of Mason City; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; and two brothers, Claude and Kenneth Kennison.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2000, at the Harvest Time Church, Highway 122 West in Mason City. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Cerro Gordo County.
