MRS. WILLIAM TEDDER DIES; RITES MONDAY

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. William (Dollie) Tedder, 82, 22 S. Shore Drive, died early Friday morning in a Clear Lake nursing home where she had been cared for about two years.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home with the Rev. Worthie K. Usher, pastor of Unites Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Saturday.

Dollie Tedder was born Oct. 1, 1887, at Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pettit. She received her education in Topeka and was married to David Johnson in 1904 in Topeka where they made their home. Mr. Johnson died in 1911

She was married to William Tedder in 1913. They farmed in Kansas until 1918, when they moved to a farm near Belmond. In 1924, they moved to Clear Lake. Mr. Tedder preceded her in death in 1951. She continued to make her home here until entering the nursing home.

Mrs. Tedder is survived by three sons, John Johnson, Swaledale; Theodore Johnson, Clear Lake, and Elvin Tedder, Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters I Topeka; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

NOTE -- Dollie Tedder was born October 1, 1887, died March 28, 1969 and was buried in the Clear lake Cemetery Section D Row 7.
