DONNA MAE MERTZ

CLEAR LAKE -- Donna Mae Mertz, 59, of 2009 First Ave. S., died Monday (May 13, 1996) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., with the Rev. Kermit Roisen of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Donna Mae Mertz Memorial Fund.

Donna Mae Mertz was born Dec. 12, 1936, in Wood Lake, Minn.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Mertz of Cushing, Wis.; her father, Wilbert Volkman of Belleview, Minn.; four children, Judy Wright of Garden Grove, Calif.; Linda Beach of Hudson, Wis.; Dana Raboin of New Richmond, Wis., and Randy Mertz of Clear Lake; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Alvin Volkman of Medford, Minn.; Gordon Volkman of Jordan, Minn., and Dennis Volkman of Faribault, Minn.; two sisters, Irene Gades of Benson, Minn., and Janet Lydell of Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a grandson.
