Obituary - Winston R. "Win" Hansen
August 01, 1918 ~ April 07, 2013

Winston R. "Win" Hansen of St. Paul, formerly of Mason City, IA and Edina, passed away April 7, 2013. He was born August 1, 1918, Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by wife, Helen; son, Michael; sister, Evelyn and grandson, Robbie.

Survived by children, Gary (Diane), Bruce (Lynne), Dixie, Bonnie (Jeff), Becky (Dick) and Annie (Bob); grandchildren, Becky, Ben (Alison), Brian, Dan, Ellen, Ellie, Helen, Jennifer (Tate), Jillian (Eric), Nathan, Nico, Noah, Richard (Melinda), Scott and Tessa; great-grandchildren, Chlöe, Ava, McKenna, Jace, Dixie, Adi, Trevor Winston, Mady Marian, and Lance.

He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Dunwoody College of Technology and University of Minnesota. For 25 years he was the Director of Marketing for the Douglas Corp. Prior to retirement he was a member of Minneapolis Sales and Marketing Executives Club, Toastmasters Club No. 2019 and Edina Golden K Kiwanis. In retirement he volunteered at Fairview Southdale Hospital. He was a member of Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, Edina, since 1962.

There will be a Memorial Service at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5730 Grove St., Edina on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Memorials preferred to Good Samaritan United Methodist Church. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996

NOTE: During World War II, Win served in the U.S. navy (1942-1945).
