CARHERINE C. EDWARDS

Catherine C. Edwards, 65, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, April 15, 1995, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center East Campus, Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 18, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with David Funk officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials in her name.

Catherine was born Oct. 14, 1929 in Maywood, Ill., the daughter of Harold and C.(Malony) McBeth. She graduated from Alexander High School, Alexander, Iowa, in 1947.

On Oct. 2, 1949, she was united in marriage with Hubert Edwards in Glenville, Minn.The couple lived in Clear Lake and she was employed at the Tourist Park Grocery for
14 years, beginning in the early 1960s. She also attended Hamilton Business College during that time. She was later employed at Guardian Photo in Mason City. She
worked at Opportunity Village (formerly Handicap Village) for 12 years, until 1992. She was employed by Advanced Water Systems LC, in Clear Lake.

Her hobbies included reading and watching television. She especially enjoyed driving around the lake.

She is survived by a son, David Edwards, Clear Lake; a sister, Donna Lenning and her husband, Donald Mason City.
