WAYNE EDWARD KOOP

CLEAR LAKE - Wayne Edward Koop, 38, of 7301 Fleur, Des Moines, died Sunday (July 14, 1996) at home of cancer.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Clear Lake Cemetery, with the Rev. Fred Lewis of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon, Des Moines, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wayne Edward Koop was born May 14, 1958, to William Edward and Betty (Sheldon) Koop in Ontario, Calif. He lived in Clear Lake from 1969 to 1986. He was a factory worker by trade.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Koop of Prairie City; one son, Weston Koop of Clear Lake; one daughter, Elizabeth Koop of Spirit Lake; and one sister, Karen Sponheim of Prairie City.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents
