Charles Kimble, 87, passed away Friday, June 29, 2001 at his residence. Services
were held Monday, July 2 at the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Kimble was born March 8, 1914 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Glen A. Kimble and
Elizabeth Simmons Kimble. He moved to Texas from Pauline, Iowa. He was a gas
plant operator for Northern Natural Gas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera; his parents; and a daughter, Joyce
Kimble.

Survivors include three sons, Dallas Kimble of Ft. Stockton, Texas, Steven
Kimble of Bullard, Texas, and Monte Kimble of Pflugerville, Texas; two
daughters, Carolyn Williams of Memphis, Tenn., and Mary Jo Webb of Oxford, Ala.;
11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
