SWALEDALE – Carla J. WESTOVER, 92, of Swaledale, died Monday January 7, 1985 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home [in Clear Lake, Iowa].

Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Swaledale with the Rev. Robert DODGE officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Swaledale. Visitation will be after 2 pm today at the Grarup Funeral Home in Thorton, Iowa.

She is survived by three daughters, Anna Grace UNDERWOOD, Sycamore, Ill., Betty BECKNER of Homosassa, Fla., and Edyth SHINN; one son, James of Pinellas Park, Fla.; one sister, Mary RINGENBERG, Newton; one brother, Carl HANSEN, Thorton; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

NOTE: She was married in November of 1904 to Byron J. WESTOVER.
