Addie L. Hanley, 80, 5302 E. 1st St., died Sunday Oct. 17, 1993 in Superior Memorial Hospital. Born April 2, 1913 in Clear Lake, Iowa, she had been a Superior resident since 1974. Mrs. Hanley had been a school teacher in Clear Lake, Thornton and Dubuque, Iowa and was also a seamstress employed by various dress shops. She was a member of Itaska Presbyterian Church in Superior and of the former Deborah Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; two daughters, Shirley Zinn, Superior, and Mrs. Gerald (Karen) Schultz, South Range; three sisters, Eva Kimble, Mason City, Iowa, Mrs. Art (Elsie) Bussa, Clear Lake, Iowa, and Mrs. Charles (Myrtle) Lowe, Waterloo, Iowa; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents and five brothers died previously.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Downs Funeral Home. The Rev. Duane Aslyn will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, where officers of Superior Chapter will conduct an Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m.

Another funeral is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home in Clear Lake, Iowa, where friends may call that day from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
