Obituary - David J. QUAM

David J. QUAM, 34, of 20755 320th St., died on Tuesday (Feb. 26, 2002) near Plymouth.

David was born on Oct. 30, 1967, in Mason City, the son of Robert and Mary (WEAVER) QUAM. He graduated from North Central High Schoo1 Manly in 1985 and from Lincoln Tech in Des Moines with a degree in mechanics.

David married Dana CIAVARELLI on March 17, 2001, in Manly. He was a 12 year employee of Curries Company in Mason City.

His interests were many and varied, including cars, his 1855 Oliver Tractor and his Mr. Happies fireworks, and he enjoyed spending time in his shop with his friends.

David is survived by his wife, Dana, of Plymouth; parents, Robert and Mary QUAM, of Plymouth; grandmother, Margaret PERDUE of Mason City; a brother, James QUAM and wife, Suzanne, of Plymouth, and their children, Nathan and Alicia; a sister, Sue BENEDICT and husband, Randy, of Minneapolis, Minn.; and many uncles and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clayton and Tilla QUAM; maternal grandfather, Francis J. WEAVER Sr.; and maternal step-grandfather, Daniel PERDUE.

NOTE: David was interred at Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth, Iowa..
