KILLED IN FRANCE

Word was received Thursday by Mrs. Jennie LUNDEEN, 546 8th S. E., that her son, T/4 Gordon LUNDEEN of the medical corps, wounded in France on June 11, died of his wounds on the same day. Sgt. LUNDEEN was a graduate of Mason City high school and before he left was employed by the Stoyles Press, Inc. He entered the service in April, 1942, and had been stationed at Camp Barkeley, Texas, Fort Dix, N. J., and in Arizona.

Sgt. LUNDEEN has one brother, Pfc. Robert C. LUNDEEN, enroute to his destination. He was preceded in death by his father.
