Pvt. Robert C. Christiansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Christiansen, 321 15th street northwest, has been in Sioux Falls, S. Dak., for assignment in the technical training school of the army air force for training as a radio operator-mechanic. He was inducted in July 1942, at Fort Leavenworth, Kans.

Pfc. Robert C. Christiansen, son of Mrs. Esther Christiansen, 321 15th N. W., was recently graduated with high honors from the AAF training command radio school at Sioux Falls, S. Dak., it was announced by the public relations section at the school.
Pfc. Christiansen attained a grade of 4.0 out of a possible 5, and achieved a final code speed of 20 words a minute, to rank 10th in his class.
He is qualified to take his place as a radio operator-mechanic in one of the famed bombers of the army air force.

Pvt. Robert C. Christiansen, son of Mrs. G. H. Christiansen, 321 15th N. W., is now completing his final stage training as a member of a B-29 crew at Pyote army air field, Tex., according to word received from headquarters there. Pvt. Christiansen is a graduate of the Mason City junior college, class of 1941. He entered the military service in July, 1942, and is the radio operator on his bomber.
