MRS. G. ESSER DIES AT HOME NEAR DOUGHERTY
Dougherty – Mrs. George Esser, 68, died at her home 4 miles northeast of Dougherty Monday afternoon following a long illness.
Services were conducted at the home at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon , the Re. F. A. Smith of Rockford officiating.
Surviving are her husband, 1 daughter and 2 sons as follows; Mrs. Clyde Thieman of Marble Rock; John and Wilbur Esser of Dougherty; 2 brothers; Charles and August Uker of Rockford and 1 sister; Mrs. Fred Brandenburg of Huron, South Dakota.

Mary Uker was born December 4, 1876 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Carl Frederick Uker and Augusta (Krueger) Uker.
She married George Esser, the son of John Esser and Elizabeth (Stockman) Esser.
