Patricia "Pat" Wood, 64, of Mason City, died on Monday, March 7, 1994 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, Mason City, with the Rev. J. Oakland of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Floyd County, Iowa.
Patricia Wood was born on March 1, 1930, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, daughter of Marshall E. and Velma (Pierce) Brown. She married Earl R. Wood on August 22, 1952, at First Congregational Church in Mason City, Iowa.
Pat grew up in mason City and graduated from Mason City High School in 1948. She worked for Kresge Dollar Store for many years. She was very active in the Moose Lodge serving as recorder of Women of the Moose, and as office manager of Loyal Order of the Moose until retiring in 1991. She enjoyed doing crafts, making ceramics, and collecting dolls. She also enjoyed raising flowers and plants.
Pat was a member of the Women of the Moose, the Young at Hearts Grandmother's Club, the Monday Night Card Club, and the River City Tri Club.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Wood, Mason City; her parents, Marshall and Velma Brown, Mason City; one son, Raymond Wood, Mason City; one daughter, Susanne Behl-Rettler, Hancock, Wisconsin; two sisters, Marcia Butcher and her husband Floyd of Mason City, and Donna Braughton and husband Jerry, of Mason City; two brothers, Jack Brown and his wife Virginia, Milan, Illinois, and Jerry Brown and his wife Deb, of Mason City; four grandchildren: Ross Behl, Kasson Minnesota, and Trina, Cynthia and Hattie Mae Rettler, all of Hancock, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and one nephew, Marshall G. "Charlie" Brown.
